Surah Al-Kahf is often recited, or read out loud because it is believed to bring protection and blessings. The surah, or chapter, tells stories about the early days of Islam, like the story of some people who had to run away and hide in a cave for a very long time because they were being treated unfairly.
It has 110 verses and is named after a cave mentioned in the first verse. Surah Al-Kahf is a part of the Quran, which is a very important book for Muslims. Surah al kahf is the 18th surah of the holy Quran and it is inside the para 15th (سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي).
